Players can choose any of the series' Evas to control, who are represented by their pilots. So you can choose from Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Asuka and Kaworu. You can start playing in history mode with any of these characters, where you'll have to battle against all of the Angels from the animated series.
Each Angel has its own special moves and animations, taken directly from the series. So, while the first Angel will come at you with the famous cross attack, other Angels will try to use their A.T. fields against you.
As with the majority of games that use the MUGEN system, Neon Genesis Evangelion offers the Versus mode where two human players can play against each other.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is a two-dimensional fighting game that will delight fans of the animated series, a 90s classic.
